On Yahoo Sports Radio’s “Nate & The Noise” host Nate Lundy and guest Brad Evans talked with CBS5 Phoenix’s Marc McClune about how the defending NFC runner-ups are preparing for their 2016 season.
Lundy, Evans, and McClune talked about the injury history of quarterback Carson Palmer, the development of the Cardinals’ offensive line, and breakout running back David Johnson.
“They trust him,” McClune said. “I think he’s got the body for it. They really like David Johnson. His stock is really high right now.”
The Cardinals were one of football’s most popular teams last season before their doors were blown off in the NFC championship game against the Carolina Panthers. They open their season at home against the Tom Brady-less New England Patriots on Sept. 11.
