On Yahoo Sports Radio’s “Nate and the Noise” host Nate Lundy talked with the Associated Press’ Mark Long about the Jacksonville Jaguars, one of the NFL’s trendiest teams.
Led by quarterback Blake Bortles, a dynamic set of receiving options, and a defense suddenly stacked with play-makers like Dante Fowler, Jr., Malik Jackson, and Myles Jack. The Jaguars are one of the most popular picks to be a breakthrough playoff team this season, despite finishing just 5-11 last season.
“I think they’re going to get right around 7 (wins),” Long said. “But, I’m kind of betting on something somewhere is going to happen to the franchise that will set them back because that kind-of seems to be the way it always happens for them.”
The Jags open their season Sept. 11 in a home game against Aaron Rodgers and the Green Bay Packers.
