Host Shawn Drotar and weekly guest Ronnie Kohrt take a look at the Rockies’ bounce-back trip to San Diego, and discuss when should be a change in the Rockies’ rotation.
Jeff Hoffman, the centerpiece of the Rockies’ Troy Tulowitzki trade, has started three games this season. He’s won three games this season. In his last two starts (and wins), Hoffman’s allowed only a single run in each, all while striking out 16 batters in 14 innings, and walking… none.
At this point, it would be unconscionable to send Hoffman back to the minors, so Ronnie and Shawn envision their ideal Rockies’ rotation — with and without the soon-to-return Jon Gray.
With both of last season’s World Series participants up next, what do the Rockies need to do at home against Cleveland, and on the road against the Cubs in Wrigley Field?
