Atlanta Hawks power forward Paul Milsap plans on meeting with the Denver Nuggets tomorrow, the first day of free agency according to Tony Jones of the Salt Lake Tribune.
The Nuggets have long coveted the 6-9 big man, and aggressively pursued Milsap before he signed his last contract with the Hawks. The feeling is that he would would particularly well with Nikola Jokic at center, as well as giving the Nuggets the ability to improve defensively in the front court without being an actual rim protector.
The Nuggets will have competition for Milsap, as the Phoenix Suns and the Sacramento Kings (with assumed others) will also want to speak with him as he hits free agency.
