Jake Marsing is a fifth generation Coloradan who studied journalism and communication at the University of Colorado, Denver. There, he first found his passion for sports media as the sports and news editor at the CU Denver Advocate. He has experience covering over 15 different sports including the NFL, NBA, NHL, and college football. He has written for nationally and locally recognized outlets including the Advocate, Scout.com, SB Nation, and BSN Denver. He's a five tool player for 5280SN, focused on bringing fans in-depth coverage of all their favorite Colorado sports teams, but he works the Buffs, Nuggets, and Broncos beats with a special kind of fervor.
