Host Shawn Drotar (Mile High Sports Radio) and guest Ronnie Kohrt (Mile High Sports) take a look at the #Rockies after they lost their first road series of the season the Pittsburgh Pirates — immediately after they took three of four from the defending champion Cubs in Wrigley Field.

Shawn explains why he predicted in May that the Rockies’ trio of young starters — Antonio Senzatela, Kyle Freeland and German Marquez — would struggle at this point in the season, and expects that to continue during the team’s multi-week string of games against NL West rivals.

In the meantime, the two express concern regarding the mentality of the team’s younger players, following the Pittsburgh series; knowing that manager Bud Black’s ability to help his charges navigate the peaks and valleys of a 162-game season is critical to the Rockies’ success.
